Welcome to GTEDB — Let’s See Where This Goes
So… welcome to GTEDB.
I’ve wanted a place for a while where I could write about the things I’m working on, playing, collecting, breaking, fixing, or just randomly obsessing over. Instead of trying to cram all of that into one specific category, I decided to make GTEDB a home for all of it.
I’m a software engineer and general nerd, so there’s probably going to be plenty of tech here. I plan on writing about programming, interesting problems I’ve run into, projects I’m building, and the occasional “I spent three hours figuring this out, so maybe this post will save someone else three hours” kind of article.
But GTEDB isn’t just a programming blog.
Games, Pokémon, Tech & Whatever Else
Gaming is a huge part of what I enjoy, both as a player and as someone who makes games. Expect posts about games I’m playing, indie games I discover, Nintendo, game development, reviews, opinions, and behind-the-scenes looks at some of my own projects.
There will probably be plenty of Pokémon too—games, cards, collecting, new releases, and whatever else catches my attention.
And then there’s everything that doesn’t fit neatly into one of those categories.
New piece of hardware I think is cool? I’ll probably write about it.
Some weird programming experiment? Yep.
A game nobody is talking about that deserves some attention? Definitely.
Something completely random that I find interesting?
That’s fair game too.
So What Exactly Is GTEDB?
That’s something I’m intentionally leaving a little undefined.
The internet already has plenty of highly specialized websites. GTEDB isn’t supposed to be another one of them.
Think of it more like my little corner of the internet—a place for code, games, technology, Pokémon, projects, reviews, experiments, and assorted nerdy side quests.
Some posts might be detailed technical guides.
Others might just be me talking about a game I’ve been playing.
And occasionally it’ll probably be something that makes you wonder how you ended up here in the first place.
I’m okay with that.
GTEDB is just getting started, and I’m looking forward to seeing what it turns into.
Welcome to GTEDB.
Now let’s find something interesting to talk about.
